Hello. I'm having the same issue with a too current Firmeware version on the Pionner BDR-S13U-X, I have Revision 1.04 from 12-12-2022. I bought the drive from Amazon a few months ago because it was the "best" according to many reviews, but now I'm seeing the huge limitation with UHD 4k movies. Any fix in sight yet? Thank you!

Please Do Not Update This Drive's Firmware!

In practice, you're almost certainly going to need to ask Mike to proceed with enabling LibreDrive.

I received a Pioneer external BD drive for xmas however I understand it can not currently be flashed with libredrive as the firmware is 1.03 and at 22-12-12. Is the Pioneer firmware issue still actively being worked on at this time or has it fallen off the radar?
