Need help Dump files

Hi there I’m new this hole ripping seen I Started ripping my Movie / 4K UHD Movies July 7 2024

I have submitted several dump files a few weeks ago.

Can someone please tell me how the makemkv gets updated with new dump file?

How will I know when the dump files are processed is it just a pushed update?

How long dose it usually take for them to fix a dump file?

That way I know ruffly how long to wait to try again to rip my movies.

Any help would be appreciated.

One person, who goes by the identifier "Mike Admin" here, can say whether or not he processed the files. He shows up on the forum randomly.

Other that that, there is also the factor of whether or not your system picks up updates. Those are sometimes blocked by your internet provider. There are topics about how to detect and resolve that.

Hi there I have submitted several dump files a few weeks ago.

Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV? No guarantees, but there's a chance that KEYDB will contain the keys for at least some of your disks.

Thanks for all the feed back, yes i brought the activation key day 1 because make mkv is easy to use and works on mac,

it also keeps the full fat audio.

January 12 2025 i tried ripping my movies again and there all ripped fine.

Only 1 4K movie gave me a dump file Civil War 4K i have sent the dump file off.

Now for the waiting game
