The Theatrical Cut disc is still showing as unknown for me, the Directors Cut disc is detected though.
edit: I just double checked again & it's definitely showing as "The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted. Failed to open disc".
Hey rjrteb, your disc was definitely added to the
public keydb on March 15. If you can't decrypt your disc with MakeMKV, it means you haven't configured MakeMKV to utilise the public keydb. Please read the opening post of this thread as I provided some helpful background info and links to instructions.

Hello, my UHD disc is currently undecryptable. Could you please help me with it? Thank you.
Disc type: UHD
Disc ID: 8605956F-25B2-4F62-93B4-EA8C1E3B2AB1
Hey userhou4, thanks for the attempt but you probably should've read the opening post. I was pretty clear about how to calculate the disc ID:
keydb_helper wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 1:40 am
Please include the disc ID in your submission template. The disc ID is the SHA-1 hash of the
Unit_Key_RO.inf file in your discs AACS folder. Many tools can calculate this hash, please google the instructions for your specific platform.
Not really sure what you did but the correct value was 0x5D98452F3DF3B240353D5D041F6421AC380F1561

Disc dump filename: MKB20_v77_The_Sound_of_Music_BCE8
Every time I see someone has copied my example submission filename it helps to set expectations...

MKB_RO.inf link: ...
You posted a link to the 56 byte MKB_RO.inf file which you extracted from the disc dump file. I just don't get why folks keep doing this? Why would I ask you to extract and upload a file contained within the other file you are uploading? I was pretty explicit about not doing this:
keydb_helper wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 1:40 am
Do not just extract the ~56 byte MKB_RO.inf file from a partial disc dump file and upload it separately. This is not helpful. Instead, copy the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder on your disc and upload it separately. If your MKB_RO.inf file is not several megabytes in size, it is probably not useful for UHD discs.

Sorry, I probably made a mistake when filling it out. I'll try again tomorrow and send it to you.
Feel free to have another crack at posting to this thread and please ask if anything remains unclear. The only pending item should be uploading the full, several megabyte MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder on your disc and posting a new link.
