I have been asked to write a review here on the makemkv forum by the seller.
I received the ASUS BW-16D1HT Drive with Vantec 5.25" Enclosure off ebay to plug it straight into the usb. I have put a 4K disc in the drive (Blade Runner 2049) and Makemkv reads it perfectly. The firmware was changed to 3.10 and there is LibreDrive enabled.
The service from the seller was really well communicated, I thought that the price was reasonable and it arrived within a few days.

Ordered the LG-BU40N v1.03MK UHD-Friendly Drive With Vantec Enclosure.
As I am based in the UK, I ordered on Tuesday, was posted same-day and received it on Thursday.
Works well creating my UHD backups, typically @ x7.6. Plug-and-play / powered through single USB3. I can't ask for more.

him yesterday with 3.01 firmware and an enclosure. I'm so happy with how the sale went and the
first class customer service that he provided. So much so that I've come to this forum to yell it
from the rooftops.
Not only was he really quick in replying to all my queries about the product, but once I decided
on buying he had it all flashed, fitted in its enclosure, packaged and dispatched all within
just a couple of hours. Incredible service!

The last few weeks have been mad with the amount of orders I have received from MakeMKV and eBay. I have now run out of Vantec enclosures for both my distribution business and my favourite pastime hobby. I apologise to all my customers that I have run out of Large Vantec enclosures. Early in the year the Vantec Factory had to close because of the Coronavirus and this meant that purchase orders were then running behind. I had large inventory at the start of February this year and now all large enclosures are sold out. I still have large stock of small enclosures so LG-BU40N's is not a problem. For customers looking Vantec Enclosures without drive, please contact me.
I will have large order from Vantec soon and then stock should not be a problem for the rest of this year.
