I have Pioneer BDR-212UHBK (from Japan) with following MakeMkv info:
Drive Information
OS device name: G:
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-212U
Revision: 1.04
Serial number: CCDL006904WL
Firmware date: 2022-12-20
Bus encryption flags: 1B
Highest AACS version: 82
LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: Pioneer RS8F01
Firmware version: ID83
No disc inserted
Same either way with USB or direct SATA connection.
I tried submitting the firmware .tgz to MakeMkv support some time ago but no change since.
Any way to get this LibreDrive enabled? With UHD support?
Thanks
However, it is failing with the below messages. I have tried multiple times as Administrator, antivirus off. Drive is left in kernel mode, but if repowered the original MakeMkv information is restored to apparently no update is made. Note theis is a BDR-212UHBK not BDR-212UBK or BDR-S12U. I have repeated the MakeMkv information below for reference. Thanks
