The AACS dump file "/Users/gregsmbp16/Library/MakeMKV/MKB_v46_The_Sopranos_Season_6_Part_1_Disc_3_DF7A.tgz" was successfully sent for analysis
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc
Same issue for Disc 4.
Reporting as requested - newbie here - is this what I'm supposed to do?

Not really, and I will explain more later, but for now :

Extract it, rename the file to KEYDB.cfg (capital letters matter !) and copy & paste it inside the MakeMKV config folder (you seem to be on a Mac, so it should be some kind of hidden ".MakeMKV" folder inside your home folder, I would assume - it could also be that "/Users/gregsmbp16/Library/MakeMKV/" folder). Can you please tell me if that solves your issue ?
Also, make sure you are using version 1.18.4, please : https://makemkv.com/download/old/

Using the version you said, placed the KEYDB.cfg file in the hidden library folder for MakeMkv and yes it worked!!

This file gets updated frequently, so if you ever stumble upon another disc that doesn't work, it might be worth re-downloading it and re-placing it inside the correct folder.
To clarify : There is generally no need to make a post inside the "Blu-ray discs" subforum and post your log there if MakeMKV cannot decrypt a Blu-ray disc.
On the other hand, if you ever have an issue where a regular Blu-ray disc does not open even after using the latest version of KEYDB.cfg, it is worth checking out this thread : viewtopic.php?t=38293
The same is true if you have LibreDrive and you have an issue with a UHD disc. In that case though, you should also send the full AACS dump (the tgz file for that disc) to svq@makemkv.com
(I know you didn't ask, but just in case there is currently no need to send AACS dumps of regular Blu-ray discs to svq@makemkv.com)
