Avatar Fire and Ash Dump Submitted

Hi all

Having trouble opening Avatar Fire and ash 4k uhd from amazon UK 3 film boxset

Normally I just wait a few days and it worked regarding other discs as I've done a lot before with no problems I've never had to add any files etc to get it to work before

The file generated is MKB20_v82_Avatar-_Fire_and_Ash_334A

Guess I can wait longer but its a popular move so would have guess it be sorted by now

Any help would be grateful ? would just like to add it to my collection, Guess I can always use My BD player for now.

I've not posted here for a while now, as its normally smooth sailing

Attach that generated dump file to an email and send it to svq@makemkv.com. Eventually a hashed key will be generated so MakeMKV can decrypt the disc. Additionally, you can also try the public KeyDB, an additional, separate key mechanism MakeMKV can use.

... so have never really needed to install a keyDB I don’t even know where to look for that.

Download the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copy it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restart MakeMKV.

If you're a Windows user, you can also streamline the integration of MakeMKV with KEYDB by installing SamuriHL's KeyDB Asisstant utility.

Was struggling to reply previously due to the site being so slow.

I have a feeling I was missing the combination of "KEYDB.cfg" _and_ trying the disk at the same time. Because I did that on Friday and I've now managed to rip it without issues.

Can confirm there isn't any output in the log window nor in the log file.

As of 05-Jun-26 05:26:11 UTC I can confirm Avatar 3 rips without issues.

How long does it normally take once Dump has been sent?

I'm surprised that its not able to decrypted at this point with major film releases its normally in a day or so, its been like a week now since my copy arrived, don't know how to add or get KEYDB.cf etc, etc,

my dump is MKB20_v82_Avatar-_Fire_and_Ash_334A and still not Decrypting as of now :/

Any one else having same problem as me?

Thanks, Ive managed to download it and place it in the right file, restarted it and it decrypted straight away, Cheers for that
