Hey xokia, thanks for the attempt but it is really weird that you ignored the submission template except for a single line which wasn't even correct as your disc was added to the public keydb on April 23.

I literally used keydb_helper before uploading maybe its not updating?
*update* not only did keydb_helper not update my keydb.cfg file it zeroed out the existing file. hmmm.....

Figured MKB_RO.inf was not needed since the file was almost 4MB.

I'll try and be more careful next time

Hey xokia, I'm not sure what might've happened to your local keydb.cfg file. You'll probably want to reach out to SamuriHL to see if there is some edge case in the KeyDB Tool or its interactions with FindVUK.

(I know the naming is a bit confusing but my username keydb_helper is distinct from SamuriHL's KeyDB Helper tool and I'm not involved in the development of that software)

I try to encourage folks to always include the MKB_RO.inf file. A significant number of MakeMKV users have generated a drive firmware dump at some point and this ends up getting included in every disc dump they create. Some users consistently provide 6-8MB disc dump files as they contain multiple drive firmware dumps. It can be tricky for these users to know whether they have produced a complete or incomplete disc dump file just by checking the file size.

You can determine if the full MKB_RO.inf file is required without extracting the disc dump file by looking at the file name and noting the "variant ID" (Eg: 1EF4 in MKB20_v82_ENTRE_LE_CIEL_ET_L_ENFER_UHD_1EF4.tgz). This is a hexadecimal number and the partial MKB_RO.inf status is determined by the least significant bit. If the variant ID is even (LSB is zero), the disc dump file is complete. Otherwise, it will be a partial disc dump file and the MKB_RO.inf file must be supplied.

So these disc dump files are known to be complete dumps purely from the filename:
