Hey bdjvm, thanks for the suggestion. I had previously looked at the options for obtaining a disc date from MakeMKV disc dumps but ultimately I decided against it.

FindVUK and the keydb record the date of the Unit_Key_RO.inf file, rather than the date of the filesystem itself (Reference).

For some discs there is no distinction between these two dates. But for what I believe to be a majority of titles (60-70%) there can be a variance of several days or weeks:

The public keydb can be a bit sensitive to inconsistent data, so leaving a field effectively blank seems safer than relying on the keydb to overwrite a slightly incorrect date.

Not only that, but the UDF file system also stores more than one date per file! And I don't believe that FindVUK uses the "last modified time" of the Unit_Key_RO.inf file for KEYDB's "| D |" field.
