(Asmcom:) Pioneer UHD 4K Drives, MakeMKV Discounted Software £39.99, Worldwide Service, Excellent Service!!!

The drive Pioneer BDR-XD08EMB-S arrived today and i have succefully ripped my first UHD disc with it. The drive arrived with full bundle, longer USB-C cable, Power supply and some Haribo candies.

This disc (Birds of Prey) refused to open with my Panasonic DP-UB9000 UHD player, as well as my LG BU40N and ASUS BW-16D1HT PC drives.

Unfortunately for my second attempt (The Italian Job), it doesn't work, looks like with my others drives. However, with other drives, the disc simply wasn't found.

This is the best purchase I've made in recent years. I didn't believe it would work, but this drive is amazing. Pioneer drives truly are the best. It's a shame they're stopping production.

I appreciate Asmcom for all.

I would recommend him without hesitation.

I have the same drive.
Try a different USB port and make sure you have the power adapter plugged in as well. (Some USB ports don't supply enough power for the drive to work properly without the power adapter). I was getting the same errors initially and i tried different ports until I found one that worked including the power adapter

Specifically it was the listing "Drive with Vantec NST-510S3-BK Enclosure, On Sale !!!". It hasn't arrived yet, of course, as I only ordered it yesterday, but the service that I have received so far has been incredible. As an example, I realized fairly early on that I had accidentally ordered the wrong version of the drive. The version I wanted had firmware 1.00de, which supports MakeMKV, Leawo, AnyDVDHD and DVDfab but I accidentally ordered the version with firmware 1.03mk which doesn't support DVDfab. I contacted Asmcom via email and asked if it would be possible to instead switch my order to the version that I wanted. Even though I had already paid (and within just 10-15 minutes of having sent the email, I might add) Asmcom told me that it was no problem and said that they would instead send me the version that I wanted and confirmed the same for me just a few moments ago (as of time of writing) in another email. Additionally, I just received another email saying that they had not only upgraded my postage, free of charge, to 1st class, but that my drive is also going to ship tomorrow, three days ahead of schedule!

I've genuinely never had service this incredible, it feels almost unreal. On service alone, I have absolutely no reservations whatsoever recommending Asmcom to anyone looking for a UHD friendly drive, you will not be disappointed. As for the product (the drive) itself, I'll post a review after I receive it and I've had a chance to test it, but I highly doubt that I'll be disappointed.

Hello Ascom,

Thank you very much for the smooth process despite the high volume of orders. I ordered it last Wednesday, and it arrived yesterday.
As always, I am very satisfied with the drives. Silver is also a beautiful color. I now have enough drives for the next years, I hope.

What is the best way to clean the small brushes at the front of a slot-in drive?

My other black Pioneer BDR-XS07UHD has a lot of dust in front of the slot, and I don't want the dust to get into the drive.
