Your dump on your HDD is useless without also knowing the RDK used to encrypt it, and we have no way of knowing your RDK.

You need to go back to your UHD.
I no longer have access to the original disk. Is there a workaround that I can apply to repair and open this file? Or, since makemkv cannot decrypt this file, can I assume that the file is already unusable and delete it?

I don't know if it helps, but this movie is made up of two parts/discs; the second part/disc is perfectly usable. Can I somehow use files from the second disk to "repair" the first one? In the first disc, I have these folders: Aacs, bdmv, certificate; in the second disc, I have Bdmv, certificate, makemkv (that contains Aacs and Cmap).

Maybe I have some corrupted files on the first disc, I don't know.

Thank you.

To salvage these files, you would need to know the RDK used to encrypt them. And since you have no way of obtaining this RDK, your copies are useless.

Then MakeMKV must already have disabled bus encryption before you copied the second disk.

You have not yet enabled LibreDrive, which means that your TGZ dump file doesn't contain some crucial disk metadata and so cannot be used.

You need to flash your drive to enable libredrive and UHD readability therefore your dump file is no good. Also, the Disc ID is the SHA-1 of the Unit_Key_RO.inf file located in the AACS folder on the disc.
Cheers :D

Ok I will. ChatGPT told me I didn't need to. haha. After my initial post I used the KeyDB Helper and I found the DiscId: 0x81C28C418FEEDBDDC3D4A98F9961C71BD3775834.
It says that it's not in the database

Update. I flashed the drive and it seems to be working now! Thanks! I'm not sure why KeyDB Helper said it wasn't in the database.

Don't listen to ChatGPT. It has no idea what it's talking about. Flash your drive and post a newly generated image.

By the sound of it, your disk is in MakeMKV's own "hashed keys" database. However, it currently only has a partial entry in the public KEYDB.cfg file.

It should be possible to complete your disk's KEYDB entry if you could provide a new discatt.dat file now that you've enabled LibreDrive. To do this,
just use MakeMKV to start creating an encrypted disk back-up into a temporary directory, wait for the discatt.dat file to appear (it should be one of the very first files created), copy the file to a safe location, and then abort the back-up.
