Respectfully, it's all very well saying how easy this is (and once you've been fully through it once and got it working, it is) but it isn't intuitive at all for first timers who've ripped hundreds of discs who suddenly get these issues, and makemkv itself only advises you to click a link about the AACS version and nothing else.
I think I am reasonably accommodating of new users. That is why I took the time to carefully write (and re-write) the opening post of this thread and several of the linked posts. If a user is stuck on something after giving it a go, I'll always try to help. But after three years I have no patience for people refusing to take a few minutes to read even the opening post of a thread before re-submitting a disc for the n-th time.

Regardless things seem fine for this disc now. Thanks keydb_helper for all of this as it did ultimately get my rip completed. It does work and is simple when you get your head round it.
I am glad to hear you got it working. If there is anything you'd like to see added to any of my instructional posts you can always PM me.

There's quite a few random pitfalls for newcomers though & shit like this directed to an account with 1 post does the community no good whatsoever:
"Fuck off hfmets. Don't waste my time by submitting titles which are already supported by the public keydb."
I appreciate it's frustrating dealing with new users when you feel your write-up is perfect, but that's just part of the process unfortunately, especially for off-path processes like this.
...
If an admin can delete this post please do so. I won't be back.
Reading the instructions in the first post is "part of the process". I don't believe my write-up is anywhere near perfect and I always welcome requests for clarification. But if a user makes no effort and just mindlessly parrots the submission template, I don't believe I owe them a particularly civil tone whilst they are wasting my time and contributing
nothing to the community.
At the end of the day, MakeMKV users are not my customers and I don't control or administer the keydb project or any other decryption related software/tooling/project. I gain absolutely nothing from this hobby and I don't appreciate the suggestion that I should happily accommodate every person who graces this thread.
