Thanks Asmcom, ordered Saturday 22nd Nov and arrived yesterday 26th.
Haven't ripped any discs yet but plugged it in, and put a disc in, drive detects the disc so all looks good. Might pick out a couple that failed to rip on my other drive and see how this does. Glad to have two drives now, you sold me my previous one in 2021 and that's still going strong. It is starting to have trouble with some new discs (although personally I think it's the discs themselves) and hearing that manufacturers are pulling out of making these drives thought I should grab another.
Brilliant service, great communication, and even a pack of Haribo in there, what more can I say, a great seller and a true gent.
Hope you are on the road to recovery.
Edit: Well colour me impressed, Police Story 3 refused to rip when I got it when it first came out no matter how many times I cleaned it. Would always fail on my LG, on this Pioneer drive not a single error.
Thanks so much for the fantastic feedback, Digital Moe. We really appreciate you taking the time to post!
Great to hear the drive arrived quickly and is performing perfectly right out of the box. Testing it with discs that previously refused to rip is always a good approach, and it’s no surprise the Pioneer handled Police Story 3 without a single error. They really are in a league of their own when it comes to tougher UHD and Blu-ray discs, especially BD100 discs.
Also brilliant to hear that your 2021 drive from us is still going strong.
With Pioneer pulling out of optical drive production worldwide, picking up a second Pioneer unit now was definitely the right move.
Glad the Haribo was appreciated too, always nice to include a little treat!
And thank you sincerely for the well-wishes regarding recovery it means a lot.
If you ever need anything at all, whether it’s help, advice, or recommendations, feel free to reach out anytime.
Thanks again for your continued support, truly appreciated.
