Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Can you adjust the "Share" option for this file please, so that people can access it?
Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Have you checked the latest KEYDG.cfg file? I think these three disks have been added already.Evilmaxxer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 10:42 pmHere are dumps for some recent releases, thanks in advance. I also included the dumps for the UHD versions of these since they were included.

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Thanks to everyone who provided suitable disc dump files. I believe all valid submissions have been added to the public keydb. The following UHD titles corresponded to new media keys:
Code: Select all
MKB20_v77_Swamp_Thing_3023
MKB20_v82_LES_DIABOLIQUES_96AA
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
- LG/Buffalo/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
- Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
- If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder

my apologies, but i posted this a few days ago and have heard no response. this is my first submission, so I'd like to know if I submitted it correctly, and verifying that adding the key actually works, before I begin posting othersreverandbob wrote: ↑Sat Nov 22, 2025 3:05 amLindsey Stirling - Home for the Holidays

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
You generally won't receive a response for AACS 1.0 (1080p) discs as the group of users who submit most of those titles to the keydb do not post status updates to this thread. For what it's worth, your disc was added to the public keydb on November 22.reverandbob wrote: ↑Mon Nov 24, 2025 2:22 pmmy apologies, but i posted this a few days ago and have heard no response. this is my first submission, so I'd like to know if I submitted it correctly, and verifying that adding the key actually works, before I begin posting others
Your disc was added to the public keydb on November 19. Actually check the public keydb before posting to this thread, don't just put bullshit into the submission template.
Your B654 variant of Superman was added to the public keydb on September 14. Read the first post and configure MakeMKV to use the public keydb before posting to this thread.
This was a frustrating day for keydb submissions and a real fucking waste of time... I don't expect anyone to read 70+ pages of discussion before posting but surely most users would be curious enough to read the first post in a thread before posting.

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Ok... I expected to see the title actually appear in the keydb.cfg, but apparently that is not the case. I was able to rip the disc successfully.. so apparently the key is in there somewhere. Is there some other place that I should be posting disc submissions for AACS 1.0 discs? I will post them someplace else if needed... but this is where I was directed from one of the posts in the Bluray forum.keydb_helper wrote: ↑Tue Nov 25, 2025 12:13 amYou generally won't receive a response for AACS 1.0 (1080p) discs as the group of users who submit most of those titles to the keydb do not post status updates to this thread. Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Your title does actually appear in the keydb.cfg file. KeyDB entries don't match the MakeMKV disc dump file naming convention. Instead of looking for MKB_v82_HOMEFORTHEHOLIDAYS_468E, you would need to look for the SHA-1 hash of your discs Unit_Key_RO.inf file. You can calculate this file hash with utilities like 7-zip. Once you find the corresponding line, you will see the available keys and disc volume label, date etc.reverandbob wrote: ↑Tue Nov 25, 2025 2:33 amOk... Your particular disc corresponds to this line:
Code: Select all
0x61E6F4F26E91E65E1911ACAFA044EC83AAC68DC5 = HOMEFORTHEHOLIDAYS | M | 0xCF9F<Redacted for the forum> | I | 0xD6CF<Redacted for the forum> | V | 0x5FFD<Redacted for the forum> | U | 1-0x7F3B<Redacted for the forum> ; MKBv82 (LEGACY) (NOTVALIDATED) (BD)
This thread is the most appropriate place to post disc submissions for the keydb.reverandbob wrote: ↑Tue Nov 25, 2025 2:33 amIs there some other place that I should be posting disc submissions for AACS 1.0 discs? Just to be clear, when I wrote that you "won't receive a response for AACS 1.0 (1080p) discs" I meant that you won't get status updates indicating that support has been added. Any AACS 1.0 submissions you post to this thread will be processed quite promptly, but the onus is on you to sync your keydb file and check for title support after a day or so. Submissions for AACS 2.0 (UHD) discs will generally get status updates in this thread.

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
At time of submission the disc did not Validate after Synchronize in the KeyDB Helper tool, and it still does not today with the same error "12:47:56 - Failed to init disc >AACS UNKNOWN ERROR >-1612<<". Fortunately I also submitted to the MakeMKV team and the disc is now successfully processed.keydb_helper wrote: ↑Tue Nov 25, 2025 12:13 amYour disc was added to the public keydb on November 19. Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
That error comes from the underlying FindVUK validation. Something is causing FindVUK to fail to validate the disc but I have no idea what that error means.
