I put the dumps of all three discs in my initial post. And yes the working one is Deadpool 3.

Thanks, but those dumps were created without LibreDrive being enabled, and so they do not contain some important metadata .

Has MakeMKV created new TGZ dumps for "Deadpool" and "Deadpool 2" now that LibreDrive is enabled? In which case, can you upload them as well please? (We'd only need the new TGZ files of course, because the MKB_RO.inf files will not have changed .)

Ok, I created new dumps. However, the drive information and firmware I didn't change from my first attempt as it indicates that LibreDrive is running.

Is MKB_RO.inf link really needed for MKB_v82 1080p standard blu-rays? I refer to my last post where I posted dumps from LibreDrive Pioneer 212-EBK WITHOUT MKB_RO.inf and it worked that way.

No, it should only be needed when MakeMKV truncates the MKB_RO.inf file inside the TGZ dump, and I've only ever known MakeMKV to do this for UHD disks. I think the dump's variant code is a clue: if it's even then the MKB_RO.inf file is complete, whereas if it's odd then MKB_RO.inf been truncated.

No, it should only be needed when MakeMKV truncates the MKB_RO.inf file inside the TGZ dump, and I've only ever known MakeMKV to do this for UHD disks

MrPenguin is correct that the MKB_RO.inf file should only be provided separately when the MakeMKV disc dump contains a truncated MKB_RO.inf file. My prior comments regarding the ~3MB size threshold for requiring the MKB_RO.inf file were intended for AACS2.0 discs which typically have much larger MKB files.

AACS1.0 discs can still be processed and submitted to the keydb when the disc dump is in the 50-150KB range but this is only possible because the full AACS1.0 MKB_RO.inf file is present within the disc dump.

Hi David, I appreciate the effort but your posts do not assist with adding support for your discs to the public keydb. You didn't provide links to the disc dump files so no one can download them. In the future, please follow the template in my opening post rather than creating your own template...

This now opens in MakeMKV, but not in VLC. I don't get an error in VLC, it just loads infinitely. Is that because MakeMKV is using the public KeyDB, but VLC isn't?
