The latest KeyDB already contains a record for this disc.

It's weird, because yesterday I downloaded the last version of KeyDB and validated the disc with KeyDB Helper, nothing happened. I read your comment, downloaded manually KeyDB again, put it in the folder, nothing. Opened MakeMKV, didn't work, but then the disc started again, after a couple of minutes, and I could access it in MakeMKV. In VLC still doesn't work, maybe next time, who knows... Hey tommik128, thanks for the submission. You included everything that is required. For what it is worth your Pioneer 212-EBK is currently producing usable disc dumps for AACS 1.0 (1080p) Blu-ray discs. This may be blocked by a future update to MakeMKV but you are fine for now.

Please read the opening post carefully. I was very clear that Pioneer drives like your BDR-UD04 cannot be used to produce usable disc dumps for UHD titles. Create a new dump with a non-Pioneer Asus/LG/Buffalo drive and post it to this thread if you'd like to see your disc added to the public keydb.

Unfortunately you have created this dump using a Verbatim 43888 drive containing a Pioneer BDR-UD04 device . You will need to wait for MakeMKV to add your disk to its hashed keys database. Have you emailed this file to svq@makemkv.com?

Could you regenerate this dump file using an LG/ASUS/Buffalo UHD drive instead please?

Makemkv reports a new AACS v82 on the disc and I have already tried with the latest downloadable KEYDB.cfg (October 9th) in the same folder as the tgz

Thanks, and can you also provide the (zipped) AASC/MKB_RO.inf file from your physical UHD disk please? The copy of this file inside your TGZ dump file has been truncated to only 56 bytes, which makes it unusable to anyone except MakeMKV itself.
