Unfortunately, the bluray associated with MKB_v82_SLFV064_26AC.tgz is still unable to be read.
Have you checked whether the download link for this TGZ dump file works?
I feel very silly-- thank you. Updated link here should be working now:

Hello,

This is a dump for Dune 1984, courtesy of imprint films and via vision.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/141N6u7 ... sp=sharing

This film is rather important to my family, so I would appreciate a post in the thread letting me (& others) know when the keyDB is updated for it.

Thank you!

That is what happens for every AACS 2.0 disc dump in this thread, so it is an odd request...
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
  • LG/Buffalo/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
  • Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
  • If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder

I have searched through the KEYDB file and not found an E97B variant for the Coraline 4K Steelbook version so I am posting again considering my previous post was riddled with issues and I hadn't done as much detective work previously. There are multiple other versions and discs made on dates that aren't the same as my version. If I am somehow mistaken I am sorry for double posting but it doesn't make sense why this one Blu Ray is not working unless the key isn't in the DB. Its not a "Take the disc out and put it back in" situation. Also if I'm wrong and the variant IS IN the database than once again, I'm sorry.

You don't search KeyDB for the variant, you search for the DiscID, which is the SHA-1 of the Unit_Key_RO.inf file in the AACS folder on the disc (or in the dump file). Your DiscID is EE4F9E886AC5E85E9DB4DCD00712776869D690B3 and there is already a record for this disc in the KeyDB.
Cheers :D

Awesome info, that honestly helps narrow down some troubleshooting now. Now I guess I need to find out why the properly flashed drive isn't working because every other disc i've had works and this one definitely doesn't have any marks or problems by my own eye sight. All my leads seem to be either something wrong with my disc or my drive. Sorry for all the extra posts if it's bogged this thread down I'm just going to buy another copy of the movie and see if it is the disc because I read someone else having issues with Contenthash002.tbl stopping the rip found themselves to have a defective disc and a new one worked.

Did you clean the disc? Doesn't matter if it appears to be pristine, give it a clean!

You did extract the KeyDB.cfg file from the zip in to your MakeMKV data directory (where the dumps go), right??

What does the MakeMKV log window say?
Cheers :D

Everything points to your drive not having enabled LibreDrive, which means that bus encryption is still active. Note that your log.txt file does not contain a line like:

Code: Select all

001011:0000 Using LibreDrive mode (v06.3 id=1F08FC37E75B)
Do you have write-access to your UHD drive's /dev/sgX device? (Where X is a number such as 0, 1, 2 etc.) E.g. something like:

Code: Select all

0 crw-rw----+ 1 root cdrom 21, 1 Aug 26 06:05 /dev/sg1
where the non-root user running MakeMKV belongs to the cdrom group.
