Hello! I have just received my new BDRS13E-X103DX2 with Vantec DX2 Enclosure. I have an extensive collection of 4K and HD movies from many different countries and needed a reliable drive to rip them. This is why I decided to purchase the BDRS13E-X103DX2 from Pioneer.

I won't comment on the drive itself, which is very quiet, fast, and responsive—everything a premium drive like this one should be. My first 4K rip of "Mars Express," an incredible recent sci-fi animated movie, went flawlessly using MakeMKV.

The packaging was very sturdy and meticulous, and the shipping included a tracking number and updates. They also provided quick assistance in resolving an issue: the first drive I received was unable to open its tray, whether I pressed the external button or clicked the eject button in Windows. This is my first post here and I want to share my recent experience with Asmcom.

I recently bought from them a Pioneer BDR-S13EBK, and I'm glad I did it.
Order placed on June 24th at 11:00, UPS rang the bell at home (France) on 26th at 13:00.

The drive was carefully packaged and arrived witout any damage.


When I opened the box, the first thing I saw was a small candy pack (which is a nice attention ), and of course the drive itself, the user guide, and SATA data/power cables.


The drive is like a brand new, and it's the right one.


And as promised, F/W 1.03 and LibreDrive enabled by default.


First rips OK, works perfectly, as expected. Pioneer baby !

To be honest, I had a small apprehension when I was asked to select "Friends and Family" rather than "PayPal Services" on payment, because you precisely have no service in case of scam.
But considering their good reputation here, I decided to take the risk (which was not that high after all), and that was of course the right decision.

I definitely recommend Asmcom to everyone, but hurry up before all the Pioneers are sold out !
