I'm interested in buying a Pioneer BDR-XD08EMB-S. Before placing an order, I wanted to clarify a few questions and sent an email to orders@uhdfriendlydrives.co.uk on Sunday but did not get an answer yet. Is this the correct address?

personally speaking, i think Asmcom should edit their "Signature at the bottom of their profile" and change it to links of their website plus the link to their email, instead of "Glowing Reviews from customers long gone"
so at least everyone can get in touch with them much more easier.
its just my personal view and observation.
i dont think its hard to change your profile signature.

I just bought a Pioneer BDR-UD04 from Asmcom and I am delighted with their products and services. Wish I'd found them earlier.

I initially bought a drive from a different supplier on Ebay with the plan of flashing it etc. The drive arrived, but was not what they'd advertised on the post. Thankfully they decided to let me return it and refunded me. A big waste of time and I was out the cost of returning it to them.

I then stumbled upon Asmcom's info and bought a pre-configued drive from them which arrived really quickly. Their communication was great too.

more premium internal BDR-S13E-X

Worth to pay extra to S13E-X ?
How about this Vantec enclosure is it good quality and safe for this drive ? I heard not at all.

maybe better to install it in OWC Mercury Pro or in PC case.
