Ender's Game 4k disc standard release

Post by loathvirtual drives »

Saved AACS dump file as C:\Users\Username/.MakeMKV/MKB20_v66_Ender's_Game_2711.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc I've ripped it before I didn't realize I didn't have a backup

There's an entry for your disc that has a unit key only in the keydb. It looks like your image contains an invalid mkb_ro.inf file. If you could zip that up and provide that maybe someone could come along and create a full entry in the keydb that will work with MakeMKV. If you have something like XReveal you can open the disc with the unit key for now.

Code: Select all

disc id: 0x45CA175ECB5CC47193EC8797F2CBC4A29BE23C23

The AACS/MKB_RO.inf file inside the TGZ dump file has been truncated to only 56 bytes, whereas the actual (i.e. useful) AACS/MKB_RO.inf on the physical disk is probably several MB. It would need to be compressed before it could be (say) uploaded here as an attachment ;).

Could you provide a copy of the actual MKB_RO.inf file please? I think it would still be useful.
