first, thanks for the great program, it works smoothly on my Mac. I'm using makemkv in combination with XBMC for viewing BD in an experimental way at the moment, checking if this is a usable solution (especially for my wife ). I wonder if it's possible to save the output of makemkv in streaming mode. I've found a similar question here: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic ... 86&p=28166, but perhaps I miss something.
What exactly are you trying to achieve by saving output in streaming mode? Do you need a decrypted m2ts file, or you want to play the BD disc directly?
I'm using makemkv in combination with XBMC to play BD, see http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=67420. I'm interested if it's possible to save the output of makemkv during streaming mode (which seems to be used in this XBMC plugin internally), in whichever mode or easier to handle, in order to save time for a second rip. This way, I could save the stream while watching.
No, it's not possible for the moment. Not to say it would be much slower as the data from the disc had to be read from different locations - playback speed is usually much slower than copy speed.
