So where is the option to save to mkv?

Guessing that the UI is the same across the different OS, after you have it scan the disc, and the title trees come up, there should be a section where it indicates the Output folder. You can either type it in, or browse to where you want to save. Or set a default in the prefs.

I'm going off the picture in the Online Help section of the main site for MakeMKV. I'd post a link, but then the post would have to be approved.

Click on the drive button, that takes you to the selection menu.
