Help with the SDFtool Flasher

Post by diddyblud67 »

(I am new to this so sorry if I do ANYTHING wrong)

Alright so I downloaded the flasher and tried to flash my archgon drive (the like BU40N one) just for it not to start. Like when I press the start button it does nothing! It is just stuck on "Ready..."

I have the firmware pack, and I selected the specific firmware needed for this but still nothing.

I don't know if I need anything else but uh ye.

If any1 knows how to help it will be appreciated.

I received an Archgon MD-8107S-U3YC-UHD for Christmas. I read a lot of posts on this site regarding that drive and problems flashing it to rip UHD disks. I had the same problem with the SDFtool doing nothing after picking the drive and firmware. It just showed "READY" and did nothing. Is there any hope of flashing this drive short of putting the drive in an older case? Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Not currently. It must be removed from the enclosure to flash (and possibly to use).
Cheers :D
