The Who - Who Are You - uses newer version of AACS

Post by neilwilkes »

I keep getting an error telling me that the above disc uses a newer version of AACS that makeMKV does not understand, and asks me to let you know, which I have done.
Repeatedly.
Is there any news on this issue as yet, please?
Also, if it is newer than version 82, should I update the firmware on my HDD?
Interestingly, my (very expensive) PowerDVD Ultra 18 will not play it either - it keeps telling me I need to update, but it just won't take

The reason I am posting is out of pure confusion, because MakeMKV first tells me that it cannot handle this because of a new version of AACS, yet it still seems to be attempting to decrypt - very slowly. I've attached a screenshot.....

Download the latest keydb file from here (http://fvonline-db.bplaced.net/) and then copy it to the .MakeMKV folder in your users folder and you should be able to rip your blu-ray.
