Is there any way to automatically keep file names?

1. So, I open .../John Wick (2014)/BDMV/index.bdmv
2. The name field becomes, "John Wick"
3. I add in, " (2014)"
4. I click the button to make MKVs.

Is there a way to have it use the full name that the backups were created with? It seems to be getting something of what I named them, because it is always using the part before the year in the name, where the discs are usually all caps and underscores, with no years, and sometimes not even the movie name.
