using Docker autoRippingMachine on ubuntu server 22.04.3 LTS

when i insert a disc into my setup the drive it spins and reads the drive and looks like it is attempting to copy the contents and then it fails and ejects the drive

this Disc and Drive worked for MakeMKV on a Windows 10 machine
i have an external LG limp portable Blu-ray Multi Drive
model: CP40NG10 from june of 2014
im attempting to rip an iron man 2 Blu-ray i own and have successfully done so using make mkv on my windows 10 laptop

the process i used to create the linux machine i am using to automatically rip was setup using the following youtube video

and applied to it a old desktop i had lying around after putting ubuntu server on it specs:
