Portable Pioneer Drives Japan vs. US vs. Europe...

I was wondering whether portable Pioneer drives are basically the same in every region they are sold...

I noticed that the lettering is often changed, i.e. the BDR-XS07BUHD becomes the BDR-XS07UHD or BDR-XS07TUHD and the corresponding firmware is named differently in Japan vs. the US/Europe as well.

Does any of this matter or is it fine to buy in any region for use in any other?

I am thinking of getting the BDR-XS08MB-S from Japan and just wanted to be sure beforehand.
