Still very new to ripping and Makemkv in general.
I have just started digitising my extensive movie collection this week using this awesome software.
Having just purchased Elf UHD today (daughters favourite this time of year) it’s the first and only disk so far where I have had an issue.
States: Volume key is unknown for this disc - video cannot be decrypted
I assumed using a Pioneer S12 - Libre mode would bypass any encryption on discs, meaning no keys needed?
Apologies for any ignorance, still very early into my home server journey!

Check out the UHD FAQ.
The short version is for UHDs, MakeMKV needs to download the necessary keys. If no key exists, it'll make a dump file that you should email in.
