What happens when you open discs in a regular way? Any error log?

Hi,
I am having a problem ripping side B of the Dune Extended edition Steelbook disc.
I am in the process of manually ripping the disc now and am saving the log as an example, but basically it says something like this
"Error 'Posix error - Input/output error' occurred while reading '/dev/rdisk3' at offset '4414355456'
DEBUG: Code 1073741829 at mx"t@Ld9Mn[*I"irsv:213131502"

Is there any way I can skip over that section of the disc to complete the rip?

Cleaning the disk if you want MakeMKV to do the job... Or figure out if the inability to read is because the disk spins too fast for the power available to it, and shuts down.

MakeMKV insists on no errors during the rip. With an error, the rip isn't successful.
