Hi, I'm trying to flash an Asus BW-16D1HT Revision 3.10 on Linux (I do not have Windows) and sdftool seems to work:
sdftool -d /dev/sr0 -i ASUS-BW-16D1HT-3.10-WM01601-211901041014.bin rawflash full,enc
Reading input file ASUS-BW-16D1HT-3.10-WM01601-211901041014.bin
Flashing flags = 0x1 : 0 0 0 1 : ---- ---- ---- BOOT
Sending image in encrypted format
Current Drive ID: ASUS_BW-16D1HT_3.10_211901041014_<SERIAL_NUMBER>
Ready to write drive flash memory.
Type "yes" to continue, "no" to abort
yes
Operation started: Sending flash image to drive
100% Operation finished
Operation started: Programming flash
100% Operation finished
Done successfully
But when opening MakeMKV again it seems to still have the original firmware.

Any ideas?

The ASUS firmware is not encrypted. Don't use "enc".

Thank you sir, it wasn't clear to me when reading the various posts but that indeed did the trick!
