LG WH16NS40 RoHS?

Post by chicken_and_soup »

Hello! I am new to the UHD/Blu-Ray ripping scene, the last time I did disk rips was around 2011, I've got the disk rip fever again and went out and bought a drive on eBay. I've got a LG WH16NS40 with firmware 1.00, but it has no SVC code, in its place are the letters "RoHS" (The "o" may be a "0", I can't tell) and when trying to read UHD disks, the MakeMKV GUI shows "No Disk". Where do I go from here. Thanks in advance!

RoHS refers the a regulatory requirement for limiting the amount of hazardous chemicals (primarily lead) used in making the drive.
