Your UHD drive needs to be LibreDrive compatible so that MakeMKV can disable bus encryption. What does MakeMKV say about your drive in the "information" window? (You should probably also redact your drive's serial number before posting...)

FYI if your drive is not LibreDrive compatible then your TGZ dump file is almost certainly unusable as well.

I have 2 identical drives (Was happy with the first one so bought a second one before we no longer have drives that are friendly OOTB). It is the Verbatim 43888 that was mentioned in many posts from Amazon UK. As I was not sure on which of the two I had the problem so I just inserted the disc to the one connected now to my Mac and tried and it does not show me the error. It is ripping "as we speak". As both drives were able to rip many discs I am not sure why it now works but I will not try to fix a problem that does not exist. thanks!
