Surprised it's taking this long for the Rocky II disc, I still can't rip the disc. Sent dump file last Monday.

Half the reason I purchased a drive was to rip these. What is going on with these discs?

Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV?

Hi everyone, I just bought the UK collection and Rocky IV didn't rip even after downloading the latest key database so I submitted the following dump:

MKB20_v77_Rocky™_IV_C0E2.tgz

Does anyone else have a copy of this dump file, please? Or even this UHD disk? It's actual DiscId (i.e. SHA1(AACS/Unit_Key_RO.inf)) is

Code: Select all

0x8D92ECFB91787513E054D2B256A84F02A3084772
Could you PM me please, if you do? Thanks.

Just a follow up to this, my MakeMKV downloaded the latest keys today but this disc still isn't ripping even with the latest KEYDB.cfg. Is there a way to confirm the dump was received successfully? Sometimes I wonder whether my emails get blocked because I have a weird set up.

IIRC you have a Verbatim 43888 drive, which means KEYDB cannot determine what your disk's VID is :(.
