Sorry, the disc I submitted last time was a duplicate. This happened because I did not configure the keydb file properly. I have now correctly configured it and backed up that previously duplicated disc. This submission is for a disc that still cannot be decrypted even with the properly configured keydb.

Thanks for following up. I'm glad to hear you were able to get your initial disc decrypted via the public keydb. Don't forget to grab the latest keydb file in order to process your second disc.

As I said in the opening post:
Do not just extract the MKB_RO.inf file from the disc dump file - copy it from the disc

Why bother extracting the MKB_RO.inf file from your disc dump and uploading it separately? Do you not think I can extract the file myself?

It is genuinely like uploading a photo and then cropping out the bottom left corner and uploading that as a second file even though it can be trivially extracted from the primary link.

Why bother extracting the MKB_RO.inf file from your disc dump and uploading it separately? Do you not think I can extract the file myself?

So I did look for the MKB_RO.inf to copy from the disc but when I opened the disc in file explorer that file was not present.

This is why I included the unzipped one as I was rather confused by being unable to locate that file.

Now I had done some research into it and there were some mentions of Pioneer drives being unable to extract that file but the direct mention of that in this thread seemed to be removed.

If the drive cannot extract the file then I feel like its a reasonable mistake to have made.

Just to be clear, there were never any mentions or discussions of Pioneer drives being unable to extract the MKB_RO.inf file. Until January this year, the disc dumps produced with Pioneer drives were not usable for the purposes of the public keydb due to the obfuscation utilised by MakeMKV when populating the discatt.dat/discattd.dat file. This limitation hasn't been relevant for the past nine months, so it was removed from the opening post but it never involved the MKB_RO.inf file or any other file contained on a disc.

As MrPenguin mentioned the MKB_RO.inf file will be in the AACS folder. Which folders can you see when you browse the disc structure? These three folders should almost always be visible:

If you are using a real-time decryption tool like Xreveal or AnyDVD it is expected that they will rename or hide the original AACS directory. Disabling any such tool should reveal the original AACS folder.
