Thank you for the PM. When I start BDRFlash it says “No available devices found.” MakeMKV still sees it. There is no disc inside and it is closed. This is on Windows 11.

Without a disc, MakeMKV reports this:

Drive Information
OS device name: G:
Manufacturer: ASUS
Product: BW-16D1X-U
Revision: E113
Serial number: D*
Firmware date: 2020-07-21
Bus encryption flags: 1B
Highest AACS version: 72

LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: RS8F00
Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-212T
Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: E113/ID76
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes
Unrestricted read speed: Yes

No disc inserted

Any suggestions? Thank you, again.
Make sure you check the force flash box.
Cheers :D

Hi all

Thanks in advance for your help. Very new to all of this. I have been reading through the forums and there are many variations of similar drives and wanted to get a sense of whether this one if UHD capable.
What one? You need to copy and paste the drive info and libredrive info sections.
Cheers :D

The program can't find your drive - which is weird. Have you tried different USB ports and power is on?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it was on, etc. I tried different cables and I have tried 3 PCs. Finally my girlfriend’s ARM-based laptop worked and I was able to flash it. Just to be sure here is the new info from MakeMKV (running on the PC that BDRFlash does NOT work on) and a screenshot from BDRFlash after flashing (running on the ARM laptop). If you would not mind just verifying all is well… Thanks!

Thank you so much, sorry but I made a mistake my drive is BW-16D1H-U not 1X.
Do I need to use Asus BW-16D1HT 3.10MK firmware file with BDRFlash to flash the drive?

Go ahead with the download and you will be fine. This is a Pioneer not a LG.
