I'm order 2026-02-0033, readying up for payment and hopefully I got in in time

Well, I ordered one of those BDR-XD08EMB-S drives at 5 mins after opening when it said there were 4 left, and I was order 2026-02-0011; I sent payment at 9:44, so we'll see...

Edit: A few mins after paying I received a full order details email with expected dispatch date, so fingers crossed that means the order number doesn't suggest the number of orders placed.

The site says they are still available , I think Asmcom should give them to us at least 25% off now lol

I pushed the submit button at :07 with a stock of 2 left for that same unit and order number 33
Was there really 22 orders in 2 minutes ? Damn
Out of those were only 2 for that unit ?

@Rrobynne aha OK, that tells me as long as the system booked the order it should be locked in for some time at least. I guess 24h but unknown to me. There was only two left when I placed the order.

Let's wait for Asmcom because there's no point in speculating now. I placed two separate orders due to the link issue, foolishly believing it was a problem with the order, but I only paid for one (the second one I placed afterward), waiting to find out how to proceed, because the order confirmation says everything and nothing. For example, if the order I paid for was "out of stock," I could hope for the order I placed first and change the order I already paid for instead of getting a refund and then paying again. Who know...

ps. The problem is that the site is always accepting orders...

I am ready to pay now but wanting to know how to proceed, so I don't do anything wrong or make a mistake.

I guess if you use that paypal link Asmcom posted you send the order number as message but this is speculation at this point.

It could also be that Asmcom trolled us and the available articles were 10 times higher xD

you also need to send a screenshot or record of the paypal transaction to orders@uhdfriendlydrives.co.uk

you need to go to your tranaction list in your paypal account and click on the ascom transaction and send that page of details

Surely the best thing to do would be bid for them on ebay... With all you guys willing to pay £300+ .... I'm certain some of us would be willing for £350+ ? Maybe £400? £400+? So why not just let the bidding commence

I did just that and it worked fine. Made the payment with the order number and my name attached in the notes and I received a confirmation via email right after.

i printed it as apdf and sent it as an attachment to the orders email address mentioned earlier
