I noticed the stock shown on the website did not change after placing my order, and there was only 2 left, I worry there's some shenanigan going on with that and I actually got in too late 🥲

All of that because my stupid phone browser couldn't actually refresh....

That's also what I thought. Has it always been this way with Asmcom? I mean, there seem to be a lot of happy customers in here, and he seems to be recommended, but still. I get why he's doing it, but that doesn't make it feel any more comfortable for me...

Did anyone successfully pay? I got in early but because the payment link failed I don't know if my having received an order reference number & email counts for anything; the BDR-XD08EMB-S (which I chose) is now out of stock on the website.

It looks like payments aren't working for anyone but stock numbers are going down so possibly stock is allocated and when payments are working again later everything will be okay?

I hope there is the option do do manual payment through paypal with e-mail links etc.

Payment is always a nightmare with systems not working, broken links, no followup on order etc. Plus the added option of now knowing where your order is when it is in transit.

Looking at order number, looking rather like things have come and gone. My internet just had to choose this moment to drop

Ok, says order succsessful. I got the confirmation e-mail.

Now just transfer the money I guess ?

Did the order go through for the device I wanted, unclear if the system is working as it should. I would want to wait for confirmation from Asmcom that everything is OK and they just need the transfer.

The main problem is that since the site wasn't updating the items, there were probably more orders than there were actually available. How will this work? Will the order be fulfilled for those who paid first (due to the link issue) or will the order be fulfilled based on the order number?

I say this because I placed two orders within seconds of each other, but they differ in number by 38, so there were 38 orders between the two? Sure, there are other items, but it's more likely that the orders were for the three Pioneer drives.

How many orders where places and are there units for all the orders. Mine was 64 so feels a bit odd the number system.
