I think SamuriHL is right.
It looks like the drive is having trouble reading Fury as it's a TL disc. Both my external NS60 and BP60NB10 have trouble with TL discs. When that happens, I use my trusty old BH16NS55! Still going strong after 2 years!!
Are there any other TL discs out there. I've use this drive for several backups so far and haven't run into this issue before.

i have seen many defective drives some read bd 100 great and the same drive one will get read errors on a bd 66 does not make sense to me but whatever.
my normal steps are
clean disk
get new disk
a step most people can't do but i do is check it in a known good drive because i always have at least 3 around
clean drive
get new drive

I've only ever had trouble with some of the larger TL discs. Usually if they are >80GB. Fury is about 90GB.

Thanks for the link. I have quite a few of those discs backed up via my external. I'll try to get another fury disc.
In the meantime, I dont have a dedicated desktop to throw my LG drive in but am putting together an unraid server. They do have a makemkv docker, I believe. Hopefully it's updated to have aacs 2.1 decryption.
