I'm in the UK and am in the markt for a UHD compatible drive for use on either my M1 Mac or my Ubuntu Linux box. What's the fastest, most-reliable, and most consistently error-free with rips you currently sell for this?

Need to learn how to use MakeMKV a bit more before plunging into getting a new BD Drive.

I've bought two drives from Asmcom and had a great experience both times. Most recently I purchased a BDR-S13E-X in a Vantec NexStar DX2 as an upgrade to my previous Verbatim slimline drive. 100% worth the upgrade and purchase. The drive is quiet even in heavy operation and I feel confident that it will continue to serve me well. Asmcom was able to ship the drive ahead of their initial estimate which was hugely appreciated. I got an email with guidance on how to set-up the drive and how to receive support if I need it going forwards. It's a shame Pioneer is no longer manufacturing, but I'm glad I was able to get one of their best drives.
I'd recommend Asmcom to anyone wanting a drive for MakeMKV. The prices reflect the current market and I feel I still got value for money and then some with the included cables and set-up help.

Asmcom deserves a lot of praise. I ordered a drive from them on Saturday. I live in the central US, and the drive arrived today, perfectly packaged and even containing a little treat. Immediately after the order, I received a personalized email with detailed instructions. This is hands down the best customer service I've ever experienced, anywhere.
To anyone looking to purchase a drive, I can't recommend them enough; it's absolutely brilliant in every way.
So, to Asmcom, thank you!

I received the pioneer BDR-XS07TUHD I ordered yesterday. The paranoid part of me thought that it would be a slog to get it working but to my surprise the stock firmware was already enabled for everything I needed. It was very nicely packaged and even had a small gift inside and arrived 5 days earlier than the estimate. Now if only something could be done about the tariff I had to pay on it
