As another update, I received the second disc from Amazon today and so far, it is ripping without error or problem. Guess the discs do make a huge difference. Fortunately, Amazon exchanged discs without any hassle.

I bought TENET 4K UHD and I'm unable to open the disc. I've tried the normal way from the MakeMKV app and via the Backup method and neither approach worked.

Per the stickied FAQ, now that you’ve submitted the dump file, wait for the hashed key to be updated for the particular disc you have.

In the meantime, if you want to, you should be able to make a backup without decrypting the video, which allows you to sort out any potential disc cleaning issues and once the key is available, you can open the backup rather than the disc.

Nor will you. If you're expecting some kind of response, you're not going to get one. The key will be added whenever Mike gets to it and at that point it'll just start working assuming MakeMKV is set to automatically update the key database.

No luck with mine and it's from Amazon and behaves identical to one of the previous posts in this thread.

If I back up or try to rip it says one of the hash files is wrong. The disc looks perfect and plays fine in my UHD BDP but I boiled and cleaned it anyway.

Looks like I bought a bad version.

What drive do you have?

Hash file wrong means you got a read error not that the key was not available
