I'm also sticking to Panasonic and I'm wondering if you could advise if you have the Pioneer BDR-XS07TUHD on stock still? That'll be my preferred choice due to the option to have the drive vertical as well as horizontal positioned.

For those of us that have sent emails in the previous weeks - is there some way to reserve the drive we were interested in, so that we don’t miss out the window of opportunity? I would hate to go to the website and see all the stock depleted. I am sure this is on all of our minds.

I'm in the UK and I none of the links work to buy anything also emailed but I got no reply anybody got any links that work to purchase a fully flashed external drive for the UK ?

I was thinking about buying one (Pioneer, external, slim, and if possible, slot open to front) but i'm from Portugal, so i wanted to avoid the import fees, and probably, high shipping costs.

I saw people saying

There is a Verbatim 43888 drive available in Europe that uses a Pioneer drive and someone who purchased one about a month ago said that the firmware it uses is compatible with MakeMKV.

, and in fact, Amazon.es has those drives (and version 43890) but also saw people mentioning that aren't very reliable.

So, Verbatim 43888 should be a good choice (I won't burn BRs) if it comes with a Pioneer?
