I have unsuccessfully tried to make a backup of this movie from two different originals, both times the copy fails at the same point, while writing the file to disk at about 170 MB.

Hi!
Have you installed and tried using v.1.6.3?

Re: Fire & Ice
Yes I did notice that in the log and yes I tried it and got the same result. As this was tried on two different copies just wondering if there is a fake 'bad sector' type protection?

Re: Fire & Ice
To the best of my knowledge, no protection of that nature has thusfar been used on Blu-ray discs...just wondering if there is a fake 'bad sector' type protection?

Re: Fire & Ice
Is this a regular commercial blu-ray disc?

Re: Fire & Ice
Looks like a disc mastering error. What region is this disc?
Re: Fire & Ice
I got it as a used disc from Blockbuster Canada. So it should be North America unless their rental discs are unique. I have not tried playing it in a be player but I assume it works.
