why are you not using mp4muxer if you're playing them off the TV?

So not knowing much about mp4muxer, is this something that should be used over tsmuxer all the time or just for TV based apps(maybe LG specific)? I ask because I used tsmuxer(4.06 fixed) for all mine(3 movies and 2 seasons of Westworld) and they play perfectly. However, I play them on an Nvidia Shield 2019.

It’s more reliable for playback on lg tvs internal player and supports dual track dolby vision. It doesn’t support atmos audio but if you’re playing it off the tv, it doesn’t matter.

thank you ,i have over 20 movies on mp4 with vision downloaded from HD-torrent,but my priority is DV and Atmos trueHD:) i think to buy sony x700 online to make 1,2 days test with my DV and atmos movies and it is not ok i will return to the shop 14 day trials xaxa i really dont understand why only 1 movies from 6 playing perfekt on LG C9 ...

How to choice profile 5 ?

Somebody shared a version of tsMuxer that makes profile 5 DV in the other thread.

I used 04.06 fixed ?

For a profile 5 DV you want to use 05.06 fix. And tsMuxer Nightly is the best for Sony x700.

I can confirm you that the x700 won't plays all those single layer files( BL+EL+RPU) unless it's a MEL DV movie.
But it doesn't matter because that player will play any dual-layer profile 7 TS file produced by the latest tsMuxer with Atmos+subs.

I have been following this thread with great interest and some of it is over my head I'll admit. I'm trying to make a DV profile 5 that will play on Apple TV via Infuse. I know the audio limitations and I only have a 5.1 system anyway. I've tried many versions of tsmuxer with no success. Apparently my Google search skills have diminished in my old age. I cannot find anything having to do with the 04.06 fix or 05.06 fix being discussed here. I'm guessing these are tsmuxer versions? Is this what I need? And if so, where can I find it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

correct, yusesope tool is not needed with the x700. If your source is an original m2ts, then no need to use eac3to as well. m2ts straight to dual-layer profile 7 TS

Does the ATV4K only play profile 5 DV correctly? Or is that an Infuse thing? I've been using MrMC on ATV4K for the .04.06 files I prepared for my Shield, and they play and trigger LLDV fine. Then again, I have no frame of reference for DV other than the Vertex2 saying it's getting LLDV on input. Do these work correctly?

Just a question with uncertainty with how we may in the end need to create files... are we better off backing these up with Dual Video as in Video 1 and Video 2. Or will we be able to re-create what is needed in the end with what we have via makemkv as in 1 video ??? I'm guessing we will have to re-create some movies...
