I did Steve, I did but I'm not seeing it. There is a work around for this correct? Yes I am wasting and should have tossed this thing in the trash an hour ago but it's a for a friend.
So yes, bust my balls if you need to then would anyone be able to give me the latest info on this?
Are there different versions of DOSFLASH I should be using? Currently on DosFlash 32 V2.0 Build20110903 damn that's old.
I'm good with from 3.10 onwards DosFlash support is broken, disabled, against the law, whatever. Thanks!

i have used it a few times it works
alternatively apparently you can just flash a bunch of random firmware to one that finally downgrades the bootloader what one does that idk
but i have gotten drives to recover that should have had dos flash disabled but it worked just fine without the new one so idk, i think it was from the people just desperately flashing every firmware they could find to try and fix it.

yeah its back to the full command line only.
you can try flashing random firmwares that reenable dosflash and tell us all what one does it lol
someone can probably tell by looking at bootloader stuff but i dont know what to look for

Re: MTK Vendor Intro Failed! (Gen 1 BC-12B1ST flashed with 3.11MK)
thats when it wants firmware but those bc 12s are picky with what they will flash to never did it with one of those not sure what you should do you first need to flash to a firmware that supports dosflash then use the new dosflash and you can read and write to it even when its semi permanently disabled read through that thread teddy explains it a bit.
but if its stuck on that firmware and only that firmware it might be done for

I still need to do this. How to motivate ones self to perform command line dos flashing when I really don't want to do it?
