Hi,
I recently started to use MakeMKV, and for the first 3-4 DVDs it was easy to determine the title file for the movie and title files for the extras. I recently ripped the Fever Pitch DVD, and the first two title files are nearly identical. Title00 is 4882.29M and run time is 1:43:21, and title01 is 4926.20M and run time is 1:44:13. At first I thought one of the title files was the commentary version, but when I play both files using VLC there is no commentary. When I play the DVD using VLC and turn the commentary option on, I hear the commentary and the run time is 1:43:15. When I play the DVD using VLC with the commentary option off, there is no commentary as expected and the run time is 1:43:15. I'm confused as to what the title01 file with a run time of 1:44:13 is. Is there a way to determine what it is and/or what it is for?

Title File Confusion
Re: Title File Confusion
Given the studio that released the title (a division of Disney), one possibility is that they are identical, except for the titles and credits. One should be in English, the other in either Spanish or French.

Re: Title File Confusion
I looked at both title files with VLC, and the credits at the end of both and titles during the movie are in English. I played the movie from the DVD using VLC and selected Spanish as the language, and it still used the 1:43:21 version.
Re: Title File Confusion
I did some more research on this DVD. DVD Decrypter displayed VTS_05 that had PGC 1 (1:43:15) and PGC 2 (1:44:08). MediaInfo for VTS_05_0.IFO displays in General a Duration of 1 h 44 min, and a Menu #1 duration of 1 h 43 min and a Menu #2 duration of 1 h 44 min.
Because 1:43:15 version is always played no matter what I do to play the DVD I'm going to use the title00 (1:43:15) file for Plex, and delete the title01(1:44:08).
