Yep, my testing went well.

Results:

1. Eac3to now recognizes m2ts file and I was able to extract streams.

2. I created a 1 minute sample direct from the playlist using FFMPEG and did not find any noticeable glitches or artifacts.

3. CloneBD = no errors during encoding. Once finished, I watched a minute and skipped through it and did not see any noticeable glitches or artifacts.

I've passed on my results to Mike. I'm sure there will be an update soon...
Cheers :D

@Mike

Fury UHD ripped flawlessly and megui as well as eac3to can extract streams without any issues at all. :wink:

This afternoon I'll try to create a protected ISO and see if it reports errors on FMTS/M2TS decryption process.

@mike,

I guess Teddy and Marty had a "quick & dirty version" to test. Any idea when the corrected next beta can be released?

Creating a protected ISO will not work as FMTS/M2TS will fail hash check.

No issues at all if the decryption is made from the physical disk. :wink:

That's a shame. I usually create a protected iso while waiting for makemkv to support new titles. When the support is added I make an unprotected backup from the protected iso. That way I'm only handling the disc once instead of periodically checking it. Ah well that's not a big deal really.

I've created a protected ISO with another software and now MakeMKV decrypt it with no hash errors at all.

Thus, it's possible to decrypt also a protected ISO of an AACS 2.1 UHD disk. :D

Brilliant! I may stop and grab zombieland on the way home just to have one to play with. The way I create protected iso is to use makemkvcon to put the drive in libredrive mode and then use imgburn to create the image. All scripted of course.
