I'm not sure what actual manufacturer/model drive is inside that Buffalo enclosure.

However, from your previous post:

Drive Information
OS device name: /dev/rdisk9
Current profile: BD-ROM
Manufacturer: BUFFALO
Product: Optical Drive
Revision: BN10
Serial number: KZ8H92J1011
Firmware date: 2117-05-30 17:24
Bus encryption flags: 1F
Highest AACS version: 68

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: MT1959

Since the drive platform is MT1959, you could try flashing the BU40N Buffalo BU10 firmware to the drive using the modified ASUS flasher. By using this firmware, your drive will be identified as a BUFFALO BRUHD-PU3-BK "Official" UHD drive with libredrive enabled.

Please let us know if this works for you.

Cheers.
Cheers :D

To enable libredrive (and UHD reading) you need to change the drive's firmware. This is done by flashing a different firmware to the drives EEPROM.
