Hi folks,
I'm really interested in the whole LibreDrive thing. Now after scanning the available firmware list, I can't find my drive. So my question is, is there a firmware and I'm just to stupid to find it, or do I need to buy a new bluray drive?
Thanks in advance for the help.

What does MakeMKV say about the drive?

You won't find your drive on the LibreDrive list... It's too old. Only a few drives manufactured prior to 2015 are capable of having their firmware limits modified "on the fly".
The oldest one I've owned that was recognized at all was a 2015 LG drive, and it didn't get any extra capabilities. Yours is 3 years older than that.

Thanks alot for your fast respond.
I'm amazed how old my drive is, I knew it's old, but that old. Wow.
Can you recommend me a good one that is not too expensive?
Thanks in advance for your help.
