So far using anydvdhd to rip to iso seems to work for me and makemkv is pretty straightforward.
Is there anyway to rip UHD disc to BDMV folders or its just a copy and paste thingy?
another noob question....

In AnyDVD, the option would be 'Rip Video Disc to Harddisk...'.
