Thanks for the reply, I have noticed that some discs have a film that is easily wiped clean, this particular disc did not have that. I wiped it anyway as you suggested, no change in results unfortunately. Not sure where to go from here, except maybe make a run to best buy or target and see if a disc from there will rip...

Also, thanks for the note on the UHD region, I was not aware of this, but also not surprised considering most BD's didn't have regions either, or most were "A/B/C".

The post just before this one is another ASUS drive reading disc problem. It's starting to become more problematic. I'm running MK 3.10 and (before my machine crashed a horrible death last night) I've been having ripping problems of my own. I put the disc in my NS60 and it reads it just fine. I don't know what it is about the ASUS drive that's causing this but it absolutely HATES certain discs.
